To improve our members’ overall experience, in 2015, CrossFit Undeniable introduced a new Ambassadors program. The group’s mission is to increase connections for long-term members, welcome new members, and engage prospective members and to create avenues for greater community involvement. These are our four founding Ambassadors; look for them around the gym, and feel free to reach out to them if you have questions or ideas for improvement.
New for 2016, we’ve added a Digital Ambassador to our ranks. Gaby brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Ambassador team, and she’s already increased CFU’s social media presence. Along with her work on the digital end, Gaby hopes to get to know all CFU members and bring her creativity and drive to help grow our community. Having started CrossFit nearly two years ago, Gaby has established numerous skills. This year, she is looking to improve her Olympic lifts and is even considering entering a competition or two.
It’s hard not to feel pumped up when T$$$ is in the house—her energy and enthusiasm are infectious. Although she travels frequently for work, Theresa does her best to be consistent with WODs, and she sees CFU as her second home. She’s been in CrossFit for over five years, and she can attest to the skill of our CFU coaches. As an Ambassador, Theresa hopes to help members feel included and excited about things that might be scary, like trying a new movement or skill or joining in national comps such as the Open.
Liz joined CFU in December 2014, dedicated herself to improving, was consistent with her training, and saw steady gains all year. She loves the CFU community and the support everyone freely gives one another. As an Ambassador, she is hoping to help with special events to create an even stronger community inside and outside of our walls. Liz’s personal goals for the upcoming year include improving on the skills base she’s created, particularly by increasing her strength, and she’d like to run an unbroken 5K.
A competitor at heart, Todd is fueled by the constant challenge CrossFit provides. He loves the feeling of strength CrossFit lends to everyday tasks, and he is inspired by the people at CFU—by their support and by their continued efforts to improve. Already a certified Level 1 instructor, Todd is motivational and supportive, and he enjoys seeing people overcome things they thought they couldn’t accomplish. As an Ambassador, Todd looks forward to helping make the CFU experience the best it can be for all of our members.
If you haven’t heard Heather cheering for athletes in a workout, then you haven’t been in a workout with Heather. A teacher in her professional life, Heather is a natural at encouraging everyone around her to push to achieve successes they didn’t think possible, and she brings that each and every day to WODs at CFU. As a first-year Ambassador, Heather’s goal is to welcome new members and help them get to know the community she feels so welcomed by. This year, Heather is looking to hit muscle-ups and get her mile to 5:45.
Rhonda “Weezer” Pilcher
Rhonda moved to Colorado in 2013 hoping she could find a Crossfit box like the one she left in Texas. Yea, better…Crossfit Undeniable has far exceeded her expectations in every way. Rhonda or Weezer wants every member here to have that Crossfit experience, not just the physical transformation, but also the community that is Crossfit. Whether it is the encouragement from your fellow members to finish that last round or you finally get that elusive double under, your Undeniable community will be here to cheer you on! As an Ambassador, Rhonda wants to encourage CFU members that age is just a number and you can do it!
Our Spartan Race Ambassador
My name is Zane Colvin, I usually go the 7 or 8 am class and for the past 2 years I have taken a huge interest in Spartan obstacle course races. I’ve run 6 races so far and have completed every distance that Spartan has to offer. Each one was so much fun and the only thing that could make it better, is to gather, train and represent as a team! Come join the new CrossFit Undeniable Spartan Team!
Our Ragnar Ambassador
My name is Kayla Brooks, and as some of you might know, I enjoy running. I mean, I REALLY enjoy running, especially if my runs include long distances, great company, and beautiful scenery; which are all of the reasons I love to run the Colorado Ragnar Trail Relay.
