Let me get the tough words out there. At the request of Colorado Governor Jared Polis, we’re closing CrossFit Undeniable effective Tuesday, March 17 until Saturday, April 18. We fought this for quite some time limiting class sizes and taking other safety measures. However, it’s time to do our part in limiting the spread of the virus so we can all hopefully get back to normal as soon as possible.
Zach, myself, and all of the CrossFit Undeniable coaches hope you can understand how difficult this decision has been. CrossFit Undeniable is so many things to so many people—stress relief, friendship, empowerment, opportunity, and more. It’s important now more than ever to emphasize that those things don’t just exist within the confines of the gym.
We’ve long known that CrossFit Undeniable is more than just a physical location. Now’s our chance to prove it.
Can I Work Out?
All classes will be cancelled starting Tuesday, March 17 until Saturday, April 18. However, there are still ways to continue and grow our fitness during this time! You don’t get a month off of movement; no good will come of that, promise!
We’ll be posting daily at-home workouts in Triib alongside video demos in our private member Facebook group and on Instagram. We’ll also be looking for ways to add value outside the gym (anyone up for a cooking challenge?!). Even with classes cancelled, there are plenty of ways we can encourage you to be your best self.
We will not be organizing in-person group workouts through CrossFit Undeniable. We did consider doing park workouts, but given the ever-changing mandates around group meetups, those would be difficult to organize. The last thing we want to do is encourage any gathering that causes this virus to spread and delays “normalcy” any longer.
With that being said, if you elect to get together and workout, that’s entirely up to you! Just make sure to share a photo with us in the member group.
As part of our desire to provide value any way we can and keep you moving over these 30 days, we’re going to be loaning out equipment on Tuesday, March 17 at three times:
These times are all listed in Triib as “Open Gym.” Any current member can come in and sign out items. To allow for as many members as possible to take advantage, we’ve created some “packages”:
- One “strength” piece: KB, Dumbbell, or Plate
- One “cardio” piece: Wall Ball, Slam Ball, or Jump Rope
There are infinite WOD combinations you can make with these implements, and we’ll be programming around them in our at home workouts. Our only ask is that you bring the equipment back in solid shape.
Your Continued Support
CrossFit Undeniable thrives based on your support, and we appreciate it greatly. You’re welcome to put your account on hold through April if you’d like. All you need to do is email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know. All of the normal policies apply.
With that being said, if you can continue to support CrossFit Undeniable, it means the world to us, and we’ll continue to deliver value in any way we can.
We recognize that we’re not the only business impacted by COVID-19. Ultimately, you need to do what’s right for you and your family. However, if you can continue your membership, we’ll give you the biggest hug as soon as this whole virus thing calms down!
For continued updates, we’ll be using the following:
- Facebook Member Group
- Our Blog and Newsletter
- Triib (for workouts)
If you have any questions at all about any of this, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re all ears—email@example.com.
Again, we appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing everyone take on these “At Home” workouts. COVID-19 can’t put a damper on our fitness. It just represents an opportunity to get better at running, burpees, and a myriad number of other things!
