Who knew you could miss an Assault Bike this much?
We’re now just over a full month since our COVID-19 related closure. The Facebook Member Group has continued to blow up with encouragement, but we certainly do miss throwing down with you all in person in the gym. Rest assured, the first day we reopen will be an absolute party.
Because we literally can’t say this enough, thank you for your continued support. We’re blessed to have an amazing community.
We wanted to provide a quick update on two items that are top of mind for many. Please feel free to email us at email@example.com with any questions.
When Will We Reopen?
We closed our doors on March 17 with the intention to reopen on Saturday, April 18. With the stay-at-home order still in place in Colorado through April 26, we’re now eying Monday, April 27 as our first day back open. Keep in mind, this all may change as we receive specific guidance on how businesses in Colorado will reopen following COVID-19 closures.
We want to get back into the gym as soon as possible, but we also want to make sure we reopen in a safe and effective manner. We’ll share more as soon as we have a more definitive answer regarding the April 27 date.
What About Equipment Rentals?
Originally, we had intended to open the gym every Saturday from 9AM-12PM for equipment swaps and rentals. It quickly became apparent that this would be difficult to manage and would encourage in-person contact despite our best efforts.
For those reasons, we ask that you hold on to any equipment you have until we’re open again. We won’t be doing any Saturday equipment swaps. If you don’t have any equipment or are looking for something specific, post in the Facebook Member Group. We’ll do our best to help you obtain what you’re looking for.
We recognize this is a bummer for some of you that do not have access to equipment currently. Our business is not built on an equipment loan model. Unfortunately, we don’t have enough equipment on-hand to loan out to every member. We scrambled to throw something together as quickly as possible. In retrospect, there are certainly things we would do differently to ensure everyone had fair access to barbells, kettlebells, and dumbbells. Right now, there’s just no easy way to make this happen without contributing to the spread of COVID-19.
Again, if you have questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you all in person as soon possible. Stay healthy out there!
